Make Golden Moments

With delicate layers, a crisp lightness, and fresh lemon blossom nuances, Baroness Nadine was created to make golden moments even more memorable.

Anthonij Rupert had long held the Chardonnay varietal in high regard. He wanted to show the world the potential of this wine when born from South African soil. And so it was: in 1998, we released our first vintage, and as a wine of great sophistication, named her in honour of Baroness Nadine de Rothschild, the wife of the late Baron Edmond.

There is strength in our Chardonnay, and determination too, but also elegance and poise. Every line, every turn, every evolution of her dance is purposeful and considered.
